One sunny afternoon, the fisherman cast his net as usual. When he pulled it back, he found only a single, glittering golden fish tangled in the threads (Complication begins). To his astonishment, the fish spoke to him in a gentle voice. "Please, kind fisherman, let me go! I am a magical fish and I will grant you any wish you desire." The fisherman, being humble and content, was simply amazed and let the fish go without asking for anything.
When he returned home and told his wife the story, she became furious. "You old fool! Go back and ask for a new, sturdy cottage!" she demanded. Reluctantly, the old man returned and called for the fish. The golden fish granted the wish, and when the fisherman went home, the old, crumbling cottage was gone, replaced by a magnificent stone house. Report Text: Laporan Fakta yang Objektif
Berbeda dengan Descriptive Text yang spesifik, Report Text adalah teks yang ilmiah dan umum. Tujuannya adalah untuk menyajikan informasi umum tentang suatu objek, spesies, atau fenomena secara menyeluruh, berdasarkan fakta dan klasifikasi yang dapat diverifikasi. Report Text bersifat objektif dan tidak mencantumkan opini pribadi. Objeknya adalah kategori umum, seperti "Kucing" (semua kucing di dunia), atau "Tsunami" (fenomena tsunami secara umum).

Report Text didominasi oleh Simple Present Tense karena informasi yang disampaikan adalah fakta atau kebenaran umum yang berlaku selamanya.
